Rian's first Easter Egg Hunt!!

This morning we went to our community's Easter Egg Hunt! Rian had so much fun watching all the kids, running over to everyone waiving "Hi". It was so cute! I think she is going to be like her daddy, little Ms. Social Butterfly! LOL!!

Rian was wondering about all the eggs on the ground just staring so I helped her gather her eggs... and the girls that were around helping put a few in her basket as well! Then afterwards we went over to see the Easter Bunny!! She really liked the bunny! Rian loves her bunnies at home and points them out everyday in her favorite book, Goodnight Moon!

I found out about a great Farmers Market by our new house and we finally took a trip over there last Wednesday! It was smaller then I thought but it had everything I needed so that was good!

We went with my friend Cathy and her little boy Parker. Parker is in a forward facing car seat and Rian is still rear facing, poor baby. She hates it because all she gets to stare at is the seat! We are still waiting for her to hit the big 21 pounds. We have about 12 ounces to go!! LOL!

Any who, we grabbed Rian's favorite, strawberries. Also red potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots, another of Rian's favorite food! The strawberries where the best I have ever had!!! We when we arrived home I was peeling the carrots when Rian decided to grab one...... and wonder all over the house with it, watch TV with it, cook in her kitchen with it... LOL!! It was funny!! So, I have been going back and forth on where and who I should have take her photos. I didn't want to go to JC Penny's but when I called professionals to come to the house it was 200.00 just for the shoot and no photos!!! So....... I thought I will try it myself! I took several let me know what y'all think please, be honest!! I personally think there are a few good ones. I wanted to go outside in the grass but since we had a freeze here the grass in all dead and yellow so I had to think of something indoors...

For awhile now my poor girl has had this strangely look because I didn't want to cut it!! So, I would just stick it up in her pebbles look! But, I finally figured I owed her a haircut!! LOL! I figured I would try and cut it myself, I mean she wasn't going to sit for anyone anyways and why have her so upset??

I sat her in her high chair, gave her the fabulous cinnamon graham crackers, a vitamin bottle and my car keys! Viola!!!! No crying no moving!!! I trimmed her bangs and cut the sides and back! I think it looks pretty good considering I have never cut hair in my life!!

Yes, I know I am REALLY late!! I started this once before and it doubled every photo I downloaded..... so I'm starting all over again!

We celebrated her birthday on February 6th. Mark's mom, two sisters, brother and brother-in law all came out to celebrate her big day! We kept it really simple with just family and a couple close friends. I had the decor as Valentines Day! It was cute! I made heart shaped cupcakes and heart shaped mini pizza's!!

Rian was so spoiled!!! She received her first art easel, kitchen set with a load blender... (thanks grandpa and grandma) lol. Clothes, puzzles, dolls and her very own picture book with the alphabets as each page caption!! Spoiled I tell ya!!!

When it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" I started, and after the first set, I was crying!! I couldn't believe she was 1!! ALREADY!! I have always heard the mommies say, "It goes fast", I was always thinking, "ya, ok, whatever! " LOL!! No kidding, it seemed like I just had her a few months ago!! :( She is a big girl now, walking all over the house and trying new things...... I'm so proud of her but at the same time sad! TEAR! Well, I never give her sweets, so her cupcake was the first sweet she has ever had and ...... she hated it!!! LOL!! I put a little on my finger and she spit it out! Can you believe it!! We were all stunned, so we have no messy face photos!

Overall, Rian did well with a full house on her big day! Thank you everyone who came to celebrate her big day and for flying here to be with her as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love and miss you all!!
