This week we went to our pool/ splash pad! Rian and I met our friends Christy and her daughter Ava, Cathy and her son Parker. The kiddo's had so much fun!! Rian an Parker would fall in the water and we would pick them up and before any crying or anything it was just kind of a blank stare, like, what just happened? LOL! The first couple times scared the crap out of me!

This was Rian's first time in the pool since last summer when she was 5 months old, and she went right in and loved it! Her favorite pool toy out of pales, shovels and watering buckets is her hippo! HAHA!!

We took Rian to Galveston beach for her first time!! We didn't really know what to expect but she LOVED it!!!

Rian was looking cute in her surfin' chick look with the cutest piggy tails!!! LOL!! The first thing she wanted to do was walk towards the water and............ she never wanted to leave!! Mark would TRY and get her to walk back to our area but she wanted no part in that! She came over once for some yummy watermelon and played in the sand a little with me but then it was back to the water.

She loved the waves crashing on her feet and legs and then loved to sit in the sand. It didn't take much for a wave to knock her over. She just looked around with her big eyes then flashed her adorable big grin! It was so much fun to see her so excited about the beach! She shares the loves of the water with her daddy.

When we tried to leave she bawled her eyes out and wouldn't stop! She has never cried so hard! She finally passed out for the ride home!

My early Mommies Day gift!!

So, yesterday I received my GREAT mommies Day gift early! A new camera!! This camera clicks so quick I wont miss one smile from my girl!! Thank you guys for my wonderful Mommies Day gift!! I LOVE IT!!! I was practicing with it today and Rian was giving me her new face.... it's Ms. Serious Attitude! LOL!! Rian gives us her serious face then laughs afterwards!!

Rian crashed out in the Sea World parking lot!!!!!!!! LOL

So, we decided to take a drive to San Antonio for a couple days to share Sea World with Rian since she seems to love fish!! It was a last minute kind of trip!

It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive to San Antonio and Rian isn't much for a car ride that's longer then an hour but since she never gets really fussy we thought what the heck!! She did great on the way there, fell asleep a couple times. When we arrived at the hotel she was excited and scoping out the room with lots of excitement!! We started to stomp our feet! Rian started so I joined in!! LOL!! It was great, we were thinking, " What's all the fuss these parents are talking about?" Had a nice dinner at Roadhouse then headed back for Rian's favorite, Bathytime, is what we call it at home! LOL!! Headed to the bath and put her in and.......................... an absolute mess!!! She was not happy about the bathtub???? We couldn't figure it out? Mark put his feet in and then I was thinking maybe I should get in with her?? That thought didn't get far because she wanted out!! So, I gave her a washcloth bath!! HAHA!!

Then we did the standard, a nice lotion rub down and then we read her favorite book and laid her in the crib and there went the water works!!! For those who don't know, we have always been able to lay her down in her crib, then walk out and she is fine. Sometimes she would even lay there for an hour or so before falling asleep! Not this time!! Long story short, Rian slept with me and Mark slept on the couch!!!! LOL!! Fun times!!!! So, that night we thought, we are not staying another night we are leaving tomorrow after Sea World!!! HAHA!!

Rian had fun at Sea World!! She enjoyed looking at the dolphins, Shamu and sharks, but for a short period of time! HA! mark could have stayed in one exhibit for an hour, so we were moving daddy along! HAHA!! We stayed for about 3 hours then headed home for our 3 1/2 hour car ride! Rian fell asleep in the Sea World parking lot!! The trip absolutely wore her out!!!!!!!! She has never fallen asleep so fast in her 14 months of life!!! LOL! Rian was good on the way home, a little fussy but what can you do? We thought over all she did great considering she was in a new place, a bath tub she hated, a crib she despised and long car rides she didn't care for!! HAHAHA!!
