Rian has been talking about having a lemonade stand for about a year. I told her when she's 5 we can have one. Well, that was a little to long for her to wait. After ,"Mom, when can I have a lemonade stand?" or "Can I have a lemonade stand tomorrow?" Over and over for 1 month straight, EVERYDAY! I kid you not! Soooooo, Mark and I decided we would make her a lemonade stand! Now, Mark is not a handyman" by any means BUT I have to tell a when he puts his mind to DO something he does it and goes all out! A call to his buddy Jack and we had a drawing plan for a lemonade stand! Rian was super excited and so was daddy! He went to Lowes, 3 times, but hey, he did it right? After a weekend it was finished. Mark built an amazing lemonade stand and Rian and I painted!
We told her that she has until next weekend to have her lemonade stand. She asked me again if she could do it tomorrow which would be a Monday! LOL!!! Impatient like me I guess! Then she ask me, "Who can I invite? I want all my friends to come!" Of course I wanted to make sure she had some friends come so Mark and I asked around. She had an amazing turnout. Her friend Reid from her Pre-school came and lots of our neighbors! Everyone was really generous, especially when they found out that Rian wanted to donate all her money from the stand to kids who didn't have money to have their own lemonade stand! How could you not want to pay more then .50 cents for that!!!
Rian made $23.50! The best part was playing with her friends new and old! She filled up everyone cup then asked if they would like a rice krispie treat to go with it! What a sweetheart! "Sissa" Presley was there enjoying the pink lemonade and rice krispie treats!
