The Children's Museum

Today we went to the Children's Museum! We had soooo much fun!! We were hoping it would not be that busy since the Texas Rodeo is here but........... we were wrong! LOL!

Since Rian is a walking champ we thought she would have fun walking around with other kids her age and have a blast with all the toys! Rian's favorite thing was the slide. It was the first thing she noticed and the first, middle and last thing we did!!! HAHA!!

I couldn't wait to get a picture of Rian in the adorable doll house they had so we walked her in there and put her on the chair and she threw a fit! She hated it and I never got my picture! :(

We were so proud her her, since she just started walking a few weeks ago we were shocked that she figured out how to walk up hill and up the stairs the first try!!!! Amazing! I think we have a brilliant child if I say so myself!!! LOL!

She walked up to many little babies and just stood "in their space" close and stared at them, then walked off! It was soooo funny!!!!

On the way to our car Mark and I bought ice cream from the ice cream man and I gave in and had her take a bite! She had 3 licks and she liked it! This would be the second sweet thing she has ever had. The first was her first birthday cupcake that she hated and wanted no part of!! LOL!

Rian's 1st Birthday Party!!!!!!

I know I am a little late! HA! I found this in the "draft" file and I guess I never posted it! Sorry!

Mark's family flew out for Rian's party! Rian's grandma Smith, Auntie Kelly and Kim, Uncle Tim and Mike came out the day after her party for 1 day! LOL! We were so glad they could come and for her celebration!! I wanted to keep it small so we invited family and a few friends. Her little friends were unable to make it so she was the only baby!! HAHA!!

I had a Valentines Day theme with hearts everywhere. I made heart shaped cupcakes and heart shaped mini pizzas. We had a great time!! Rian was spoiled! Thank you everyone for all the lovely gifts! Rian did a great job opening them herself!

Mark and I don't give Rian any sweets so her cupcake was the first sweets she has ever had. We were excited to get that famous messy face shot we all have on our first birthday but...... Rian had other ideas! She didn't like the cupcake!!!! Can you believe it??? I put a little on my finger so she could taste it and she spit it out!!!!! LOL!!! I guess that's a good thing~ We'll see how long that lasts!

Singing Happy Birthday was an emotional time for me. I started happy birthday and by the second "Happy Birthday" I lost it and started bawling!!! I cant believe my baby is 1 already!!!!!! Thank you everyone for helping me decorate and cook!! We were so happy to have so many people come to her special day!!!

A look back..... Rian turns one!

I'm 12 months old!! i can walk like a champ and have given up crawling! I say "mor" more. Of course Mama and Dada. I also point to EVERYTHING!! I can point to noses, ducks, puppies, bunnies......and more!

I'm 11 months old! I have started taking my first steps and giving mountains of kisses!!

I'm 10 months old! I started to enjoy being naked!! I took my first step on December 31st! I eat absolutely anything except avocado.

I'm 9 months old! My first Thanksgiving! I started to stand on my own, walk with my push toys, give high 5's and I went to my first football game!!

I'm 9 months here! I'm showing my new silly face!! Such a goofy and lovable kid!!!

Rians first Halloween! 8 months old! I started to sounds like my favorite duck by "quacking"!! Seriously!! Rian sounds just like a duck!! l everywhere like I have a purpose! I also took my second plane ride to Orlando!

Rian at 7 months old! Really got into playing with my tupperware! LOL! I can recognize my name, clap my hands, and my first tooth arrived!!!! I also had an ear infection.... hopefully this was my last one!!

Rian at 2 months. Her first Easter! I started sleeping 4 hours straight! I discovered my beautiful smile!!

Rian at 1month! I started to grab mommy and daddy's fingers alot and started my beautiful cooing!! I cooed ALOT!!!

Rian at 3 months old! I started sleeping through the night!! I rolled over my first time, found my scream voice and started rambling all day long!! It was so cute how she would look at you and just start "talking"!! LOL!

Rian at 4 months! I started sleeping 10-12 hours a night! We tried solids!! I discovered my toes and rolling onto my belly!

Rian at 5 months old! I said MAMA!! I say it ALL the time! I can get onto my knees, blow raspberries and had my first plane ride to Arizona! I didn't cry once!!

Rian at 6months old! I started my sippy cup and am a pro at it already! I waved my hands Hi and Bye! I also have mastered sitting up by myself!!!

I have always heard parents say that you couldn't imagine loving someone so much! IT IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE! I cant imagine loving Rian anymore then I already do! Is it possible?? LOL! Rian has brought so much joy into our lives, I couldn't image it any other way! I love my husband more for the great father he is and the family we have become.

I remember when Rian came into the world and our Doctor, Castillo, asked," Do you want to hold her now?" I thought that is the dumbest question I have ever heard!! LOL! I forgot that originally in my birth plan that I wanted her to get cleaned off first.... HAHA!! I was SOO excited I just wanted to kiss her that I forgot to count her toes and fingers!! I couldn't not stop staring at our beautiful little girl! That adorable, squished face, the "cone" head and her smell I will never forget!! I would absolutely have another child and the birth is what I look forward to!! I'm crazy I know!!! I just thought it was absolutely FANTASTIC when I could feel her coming into the world, there was nothing else like it!! Sorry if that's to much for anyone who's reading this!! LOL! Thank you God for our wonderful and most precious gift EVER!!!

For some reason it will not let me download other pictures that are on a CD and not on my computer so this really stinks!!! Enjoy what you can see!! LOL!!! There are no pictures of Rian at 4-6 months! SORRY!!!
